Field Hockey sponsors Walk 4 Haiti At this past January 2010 All-Student Athlete meeting, the Wheelock College student-athletes en masse, voted to take forward the Wildcats Walk For Haiti. The idea came out of a brainstorming session of the newly re-elected/appointed field hockey captains for Fall 2010. Since then, two appointed captains have engaged the team to brainstorm, create design, research, and make calls to create the framework for this event.

Race named NECC Player of the Week ATTLEBORO, Mass.--Wheelock College junior goalkeeper Meredith Race (Marion, Mass.) opened the 2009 campaign with the Wildcats going 0-2 on the week. Despite the two losses, Race prevented the games from becoming a scorefest, notching 30 saves in the two contests. Race allowed only two goals scored against Western Connecticut State while picking up 15 saves in their season opener.
